sun, heat rises from the road,
he exists again.
an embrace,
and the mist retreats.
fog clears
cobwebs are swept off memories
the legend is gone.
darkness of two years spent regretting
is flooded all at once with light,
splashed with sunset
the mirage materializes at last,
it all built up to this…
the rose petals fall,
